Toasted Sandwiches

A favourite meal here. Favourites include cheese and chutney, jam (serve with a splodge of cream), or beans.

butter the outside of the bread and wait until it's reached temperature before putting the bread in. Leave a couple of minutes before opening - the sandwich should be steaming nicely and you should be able to smell the bread toasting.
